Brazilian designer with a PhD in Public Policies for Design and Innovation from the University of Wales and a Master’s degree from Brunel University (UK).

Her career includes roles at the Design Council (UK) and Design Wales, where she established the EU-funded SEE project (2005-11), coordinating a network of design organizations to develop design and innovation policies. Previously, she contributed to the establishment of Centro Brasil Design.
As a Founding Partner of DUCO Design Intelligence and an advisor at HiLaw Consult, Gisele provides consulting in business strategy and design across Latin America and Europe. Recently, she served as an Innovation Advisor to the Paraná State Government, where she implemented design / agile methodologies to improve public services.

Gisele shares her expertise as a Board Member at Centro Brasil Design, Vice President of the Ibero-American Design Research Network, former Vice President at PróDesignPR, and co-founder of WIM Women Investment Movement.
