Architect, PhD, Pier Paolo is Full Professor of Design at Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and Visiting Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico City (Mexico).

He is co-Editor-in-Chief of the AIS Design Journal and Founder and Director of the SYDERE (Systemic Design Research and Education) Center based in México and Italy.
He is the WDO Europe Regional Advisor.

Author of books and scientific articles on design history, systems thinking, and innovation in design education.

He is the scientific curator of several exhibitions such as “Arqueologia en Transito” (Tijuana Design Week, 2024), “Olivetti Makes” (Palacio de Bellas Artes, CDMX in 2018; Museo Tecnológico de Monterrey, Puebla, in 2019; Anàhuac University, CDMX, 2023), and “Design Piemonte”, Seoul (South Korea), 2005
He has taught courses and workshops in Europe, the USA, Latin America, and Asia.
