DNDA25 HCD+ Education Recognition Application
Deadline: June 30, 2025
First, review the General Requirements for this application. They can be found on the dnda.design website at https://dnda.design/general-guidelines/ and also at the very end of this form.
Second, study the PDF Application form. This will allow you to draft your answers in advance. But note that you cannot submit answers from the PDF: You must submit the answers online in order to get them into the DNDA25 database.
The online submission process allows you to save partially filled out applications when you logout. They will automatically reappear on subsequent logins to you when you log back in. The application itself is only submitted to our database when you click on the Submit button. If some questions are not answered, you will be told about the problem and asked to fill in the missing information.

DNDA HCD+ Recognition for Education Groups that Teach HCD+
Classification of Education
Education projects can be divided into two categories:
- A group that teaches HCD+ principles and whose graduates are active in doing societal work using principles from HCD+, either as practitioners or as educators
- Education activities for societal purposes, in particular, as described in the UN’s SDG 4 – “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”
This application is for those in Category A. All other projects involving education (Category B) should use the application form for HCD+ Early Career Projects.
Submission of Proposals
We require that the program has produced graduates who are now involved in HCD+ activities, either as a member of a project or as an instructor of HCD+. This information demonstrates that the program is successful and is therefore the primary qualifying information.
Qualified programs then receive recognition based upon their curriculum and the other questions in this proposal.
Recognition is not a contest. Any organization that qualifies and meets the other basic requirements relieves recognition.

Dates
Applications for HCD+ Education Recognition must be submitted between March 1 and June 30, 2025. We hope to have final results available by September 1.
Public and Private Information
Projects that receive awards or recognition will be of great value to the global community of practitioners and educators. We publicize project names and locations (city and country), methods, and results. We may include this information on the DNDA website, in the DNDA AI Assistant (DNDA .i), and in other public material (e.g., newsletters and social media postings).
Information that we may release publicly is marked “Possible Public Release.”
We will not release names of individuals or contact information without specific permission from the Contact Person for the project whenever we are asked for that information.
Submission of this application is evidence of agreement with the Privacy and Publicity statement.
