Inclusion Champions & Century Square Prayer Room: Frasers Property Singapore implemented design-led initiatives to enhance accessibility and inclusion across its retail spaces. The Inclusion Champions Programme transformed malls into accessible hubs for persons with disabilities and elderly shoppers, training 120+ frontline staff, introducing “calm hours,” and establishing Dementia Go-To Points. The Century Square Muslim Prayer Room was co-designed with the community, providing a dignified, gender-separated space validated through user feedback. These initiatives improved daily experiences for diverse users, received strong community approval, and influenced wider adoption of inclusive, human-centered design practices across the company’s retail portfolio, supporting SDGs 10 (Reduced Inequalities), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
