EduWeave Foundation is dedicated to ensuring equitable learning opportunities for every child, starting from early childhood and continuing through their schooling years. 

‘Gadhbo Bachpan’ – Carving Childhood is an initiative by EduWeave Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Women and Child Development, Chhattisgarh, transforming Anganwadis in Raipur district into vibrant centres of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). Anchored in the belief that the early years form the foundation for lifelong learning, the project strengthens foundational skills, improves school readiness, enhances classroom practices, builds system-wide capacity and engages communities as partners in children’s learning.

Implemented in phases, it began with 61 Anganwadis and has expanded to all 1,945 in Raipur, reaching nearly 62,400 children. Key achievements include:

• Increased “school-ready” children from 3.43% to 75.76% in the first phase.
• Extended instructional time from 30 minutes to 2 hours in 80% of Anganwadis.
• Trained 100% of facilitators and supervisors in ECCE.
• Engages 25,000 parents through ECCE Day regularly.

Gadhbo Bachpan demonstrates how systemically co-created and community-driven projects can create lasting impact in foundational education.
