Christine Trimble serves as Vice President, Communications & Donor Relations.

Christine is a senior communications executive with success driving business, technology and policy outcomes for 26 years at Qualcomm. At this leading wireless Fortune 500 company, she served as Vice President of Public Affairs where she oversaw the company’s global public affairs strategy and reputation-building for the company’s interactions with national and local governments. Prior to that, she led Public Relations and Corporate Communications and served as company spokeswoman.

Programs initiated by Christine significantly elevated Qualcomm as a technology leader and global citizen whose repeated breakthroughs helped define contemporary life, from the early days of cellular communication through introduction of the smartphone and the mobile Internet to the infinitely connected world of 5G. Christine also drove Qualcomm’s government and industry partnerships aimed at fostering greater diversity in engineering and other STEM fields, and in particular empowering women to pursue careers in technology and to invent and patent their breakthroughs.

Christine has served on the board of directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Innovation Policy Center, the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, Susan G. Komen San Diego and The Old Globe Theatre, as well as the Executive Cabinet of the San Diego Police Foundation.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed an executive leadership program at Stanford University’s School of Business.
