Using technology to teach technological skills to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) to enable them to participate in society, including the job market
At Inclusive Tech Group (ITG), we are passionate about empowering Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) (differently abled-persons) through innovative, humanity-centred design. Our mission is to create a world where technology and design work hand-in-hand to break down barriers and foster inclusion for ALL.
Our flagship initiative, the D-HACK program, is a powerful example of our commitment. This program brings together differently-abled individuals to co-create technological solutions that directly address their unique challenges. From digital devices that enhance communication to adaptive physical tools like digitally-enabled walking sticks, we ensure that PWDs are not just participants but leaders in the design process.
Additionally, by aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 10 (Reducing Inequalities), ITG is dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, has equal opportunities to thrive. Our approach is rooted in humanity-centred design principles—collaborating with the community, focusing on long-term impact, and continuously refining our solutions based on real-world feedback.
We are proud to share that through our efforts, hundreds of PWDs have gained valuable skills and confidence, contributing to a more inclusive society. Together, we are proving that design and technology can be powerful tools for social change.
